Wedding Reception Timelines
Often at the Florentine we are asked, what is a good timeline for our reception. While there are many different ways to arrange your reception, here are a few guidelines to get you started.
- First hour:
Guests arrive while you are taking pictures. Guests are able to find their seats, grab refreshments, and catch up with other guests. The bridal party will arrive and be announced.
- Second hour:
Time to eat up! Our wonderful catering staff assists in making sure your guests are able to eat in a timely manner. Enjoy your wonderful food and drink.
- Third hour:
Dinner is wrapping up and toasts may or may not be made. The bride and groom traditionally have their first dance as well as any other specialty dances. Let the party begin.
- Fourth hour:
Cake can be during this time. Towards the end garter and bouquet toss can be completed.
- Fifth hour:
Dance and enjoy with your guests!
Where is the Florentine located?
We are located at 8605 Haines Drive, on the corner of US42 and Pleasant Valley in Florence.
How many people can The Florentine accommodate?
We can accommodate up to 275 for a sit down buffet , and 350 for auditorium style.
Will there be more than one event going on at a time?
Never. When you hold your event at The Florentine Event Center, the entire facility is reserved for your event only! You will never share our space with another event!
Do you have a bridal area if needed?
Yes, we have a three-room bridal area for you and your party to enjoy before and after your event.
How does the payment process work?
Simply pay on-line monthly, with any remaining balance due 30 days prior to your event.
